Casa de la Cultura helps our neighbors with many routine problems which are compounded by poverty and isolation. Among the services which residents get help with from Casa de la Cultura include:
- Advocacy and Referral to appropriate agencies
- Translation
- Food Pantry (emergency food assistance)
- Flea Market (used clothing)
- Limited Rent Assistance (when funds are available)
- Tax Service (seasonal)
- Health Services
Thanks to all the optimism of the volunteers who help us with many issues such as ESL, Literature and Driving classes, translations and assisting with forms, advocacy, and rent assistance. They are a big part of Community here at la Casa. Pastoral Counseling is an integral part of the assistance we provide
