Sister Teresa

Casa de la Cultura is a faith-based mission in Pájaro (Watsonville), California. The residents of our area come to the fertile Pájaro Valley to work low-paying seasonal farm labor and food processing jobs. Many of our migrants come from the poorest parts of México and lack the literacy skills and support network necessary to live through long seasonal lay-offs in one of California's most expensive areas.
